About our Director |
Jose Quinones has been involved in improv and acting for almost two decades. His studies began at Randy Bennett's (Groundlings co-founder) school of improv and continued at various places over the years including Four Day Weekend in Ft Worth, Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC, Second City and iO in Chicago. He has also studied acting under various coaches including Daniel Foster, Glenn Morshower, Del Shores among others. He's also regularly seen at the Steven Anderson weekend intensives in Dallas.
While continuing to learn as much as possible about acting, he's also written, produced and directed several short films and garnering several awards in the festival circuits. He also booked a co-star role in the feature film The Challenger Disaster which he ended up co-producing and co-editing.
Though he's acted on stage, he prefers the film format and has spent most of his time behind the camera in recent years. His most recent short film, Jade, won the Kung Fu Film Competition in 2022. Most of his productions can be seen in his Youtube Channel. |
